Core Improvements
Creative Impression F-caps
You can now apply creative impression frequency caps to your supply tags. In the targeting tab, add an f-cap and select Creative Imps as the metric.
SpringServe uses the hashed creative ID to execute f-capping, allowing for a better ad experience for the end user. Creative imp f-caping was previously only available on demand objects.
Please let your account manager know if you would like to use supply side creative impression f-caps.
Multi-Imp Support for BidLink
SpringServe now can fill multiple impressions per BidLink request without calling header bidding tags multiple times. On supported adapters, users can now set optional parameters for multi-imp enabled and a maximum number of impressions.
The following header bidding adapters support multi-imp:
- Xandr
- theMediaGrid
- Unruly
- Unruly (R1 Legacy)
- Smaato
We can now efficiently use the BidLink number_of_ads parameter in concert with optional HB parameters to determine how many ads should be returned for a given BidLink request.
Feature Additions
Privacy Targeting
SpringServe now allows additional privacy targeting. Previously, Block COPPA Supply was the only option for privacy targeting. With the latest release, users can now target the following attributes in the Privacy section of the targeting tab:
- Block COPPA supply
- DNT Supply (True/False/Empty)
- LMT Supply (True/False/Empty)
- US Privacy Supply: free string
- GDPR (True/False/Empty)
- GDPR Consent String (Valid/Invalid/Empty)
US Privacy and GDPR related targeting only applies if the request originates from the applicable global region.
