SpringServe’s Suite of CTV Tools Helps to Fuel Massive Growth For Outside TV
Using SpringServe, the lifestyle channel saw a significant growth in revenue, impressions, and fill rates.

Outside TV is the leading video provider for the adventure sports and active lifestyle category. They have used the SpringServe platform as their primary ad server for the past year. During that time, they have seen a dramatic increase in their business with help from our CTV-focused feature set.
The Challenge
With its most valuable digital inventory spread out amongst various SSPs and legacy ad serving systems, Outside TV needed to consolidate its CTV advertising under one platform in order to holistically manage and ultimately grow its business.
The Process
1) Unifying Their Business With Real-Time Reporting & Actions
The first step was to unify Outside TV’s business in the SpringServe platform. They on-boarded their direct demand, outside bidders, supply-side partners and internal promotions. From there, they had a 360° view of their business with SpringServe’s real-time reporting. Furthermore, they were able to action on these insights with zero-lag trafficking.
2) Using SpringServe’s Proprietary CTV Tools to Maximize the Value of their Impressions
Even with all reporting under one system, managing auctions and inventory can be a difficult task. Using SpringServe’s optimization levers, they were able to effectively balance the needs of their business, the experience of their users, and the value of their advertising.
Managing their direct-sold inventory with third party partners and private deals and auctions was easy to accomplish in SpringServe.
3) Increasing Fill & RPM With SpringServe’s Server Side Header Bidding
OutsideTV was one of the first partners to utilize SpringServe’s best-in-class Server Side Header Bidding (SSHB). Implementation of this was easy and didn’t require engineering resources. Positive results were seen immediately: fill rates from their SSP partners increased by 23% and and RPM by 17%.
